Holy cow ScottS! You are 4 gallons away from your yearly household limit and it's only the middle of Jan.!!! Man I wish I had the space for some 15-20 gal batches. Or just more 3-6 gallon batches for that matter.

I checked the law just to be sure - that 200 gals is the annual production limit, not the annual possession limit. ;D Though if you don't tell anyone, I did go over the production limit last year if you include the beer I made. :-\

According to one interpretation of the law, you can officially make 200 gallons of beer AND 200 gallons of wine/mead a year calendar year...

But like I said, that's only one interpretation from someone who says they spoke with the feds about this directly. I have no reason to disbelieve him, but I do have reason to err on the side of caution simply because law is interprative by whomever reads it...

hmmmmm:
3 gal straight mead, spring honey
3 gal straight mead summer honey
6 gal blackberry melomel
5 gal cyser
3 gal raspberry/grape py-omel ;)
3 gal peach wine
3 gal plum wine
3 gal blackberry pear wine

obviously not enough!
