And I agree, a half century isn't old, it's just starting to come into your own. I like to call it "Second Adulthood." :)
 
I am proficient in English and passable in German...

I use babelfish.altavista.com(sp?) for the other translations...

I suppose I could have it translate "grey haired brat from Israel" for me... ::)

Better be careful Pewt' -- not all 50 year olds have grey hair! You might be inviting an indignant wrath upon yourself. :o

Just wondering -- would "Mead Yente" be a fairly close Yiddish equivalent for "Mead Wench"? (Ducks and runs) ;D ;D ;D

Dan,

The grey hairs in this case were self-professed by the lady herself. Anyway, I count her as a friend and tease her with the same enthusiasm that I tease my other friends here. And to be honest, I am betting that she'd plotz long before I saw any wrath out of her from my teasing...

Glad to be back. I am so hyped on the mead making, the beer brewing is now officially on the back burner. Three more meads to make for the NHC '06 I want the mead maker of the year crown. I'll just make beer occasionally for consumption (not competition) until my meads are ready ;D. And try to save some ;)
