For Mothers day I kicked my dear wife out of the kitchen for the day. She loves sauteed mushrooms with her steak, so I decided to branch out a bit.

1/2 cup semi-dry concord grape pyment
1/2 cup Joe's Ancient Orange Spice
6 large portobello muchrooms sliced
2 tablespoons lightly salted butter
1/4 teaspoon fresh grated black pepper.

Simmer it all together on low-medium heat while preparing and then broiling the steaks.

They were truly wonderful. Too good not to share!

Enjoy!
