I just ordered two gallons of supposedly "The Best Honey in the World", Sourwood from MtnHoney. Named such by the World Beekeeping Federation (Apimondia), beating out contenders from 20 other countries. Virginia and Carl are local, state and national award winners in Honey Shows. Over the past 9 years they have received over 60 Blue Ribbons including 10 Best of Show Awards for their honey and beeswax. For the past 7 years they have won FIRST PLACE at the National Honey Show sponsored by the American Beekeeping Federation, including BEST IN SHOW at the 2004 American Honey Show.

A Husband and Wife beekeeping team who's fathers, on both sides, were also beekeepers. They claim their honey is never heated and only minimally strained. :icon_thumright:

I can't wait to taste it. If anyone else is interested follow the above link, it's not cheap and they sell out quick. I was hoping to pick up some last year. I made the mistake of putting it off a month, only to find they were out of the Gallon Jugs and only had the 1 and 2 pound jars left. :BangHead:

I also just ordered an Enolmatic filter housing for my Enolmatic Filling Machine along with the 1, .5 and .25 micron filters.

Jeez, Wrath, kinda makes my recently bought floor corker (aka "The Corkinator") pale in comparison. :sad2:

Michael

Northern Brewer's Deluxe All-Grain System, and a couple Polar Ware 10 gallon brew kettles with drain valves.

By the way Wrath, those Enolmatic filters work GREAT !

Maelduin,

Believe it or not I still don't have a decent Corker, I started out with screw caps and moved to a capper. Because of limited space my next purchase will be a bench corker... but my corks will be "Flor" grade. To be fair my Original Kit came with a double lever corker and some cheap corks but I haven't used either.

My latest and greatest is a pair of conical bottom fermenters. One is 60 gallon, and one is 15 gallons.

Now I'm working on getting them all set up with valves etc.
