Welcome to the Gotmead.com Family! And thanks for choosing to subscribe and support the site!

First thing you need to do, if you haven't already: Login (or register if you don't have a login  yet) to the *site* on the left column login. If you already have a *forum* ID, make sure your forum password is at least 8 characters, then login to the *site* with your forum ID and password to copy it to the site. Let *me* know what your ID is by emailing me at gotmead@gotmead.com. Then I can upgrade you.

Shout out to me if you have problems so I can fix it.

Among other things, you will now have (as soon as I upgrade you) access to the following items:

– The BrewBlog (menu on the left) – here you can create an online brewing log, where you can keep track of your batches, notes and comments. No comments are allowed by others unless you say so, but all can read of your recipes, and benefit from your experience.

– The Chat Room (in the left column under your User Menu) – the chat room allows you to chat live with your fellow GM'ers while on the site.  It will be in that column all the time, no matter what page you're on, and is an exclusive benefit of paid members.

– The MeadCast – The GM Podcast. Starting with footage from the International Mead Festival and visits to Colorado meaderies, the MeadCast will, over time, be a monthly offering that includes pro meadery interviews, author talks, book reviews, tips, tricks and recipes for making mead, new places to purchase supplies, and anything else I can think of to help you make better mead, find better mead, and be a primo meadster.

– Mead Reviews – We've many people who have a great deal of experience with wines and meads, and will be posting reviews of commercial meads from around the world.

– Access to the reprint articles from the former American Meadmaking Association.

– Your own 5-page (soon to be expanded) website on Gotmead, the Patron Pages

– an @gotmead.com email address

– Special articles and tools available only to subscribers – yet to be released. But as I devise more ways to provide mead info, and other things, they will be made available to subscribers
